Use of personal data when selecting Klarna as payment method

If you have choosen Klarna payment services as payment method, you have agreed that we transmit for the settlement of the invoice purchase and the necessary identity and credit check, the following personal information: first and last name, address, date of birth, gender , email address, phone number. Furthermore the information necessary for the completion of the purchase  that are related to the ordering: the number of items, item number, invoice amount and tax as a percentage. The transmission of these data is to enable Klarna to process your purchase with your desired invoicing, create an invoice and perform an identity and credit checks. Thereby Klarna has under the Federal Data Protection Act a legitimate interest in the transmission of personal information of the customer and requires them to gather information from credit reporting agencies for the purpose of identity and credit check information. In the context of the decision on the foundation, execution or completion of the contractual relationship Klarna also lifts up and uses except for an address check information about the previous payment behavior of the buyer as well as probability values to this behavior in the future. The calculation of these score values by Klarna is carried out based on a scientifically recognized mathematically statistical method. Among other things Klarna also will use your address data to it. If it should turn out after this calculation that your credit rating isn't given, Klarna will immediately inform you about it.

Revocation of the use of personal data against Klarna

1. You can revoke your consent for the use of the person-related data against Klarna at any time. Use of personal data when selecting CreditCard or DirectDebit as payment method

If you choose “secupay Lastschrift” (direct debit) or “secupay Kreditkarte” (credit card) the payment amount will be assigned to secupay AG, Goethestraße 6, 01896 Pulsnitz. The amount will be debited after completion of your order.

All data necessary for handling your payment will be submitted to secupay AG. For the purpose of assessing the risk of failure secupay AG might run a solvency check.
